Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 October 2026. NextUp is operated by Prosely LTD, United Kingdom.

About NextUp

NextUp is a film and television discovery, tracking and community service operated by Prosely LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact privacy@nextup.film for service, privacy or legal questions.

These terms describe the conditions for using NextUp. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing. Optional data processing requires its own choices; using NextUp is not consent to AI or advertising cookies. These pages do not introduce a new sign-up acceptance or age-verification mechanism.

Accounts and access

Give accurate account information, keep sign-in details safe and do not impersonate somebody else or share access in a way that compromises another person’s data. Tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You remain responsible for your use of the service, but this does not remove our responsibilities for security.

We intend to serve users worldwide where lawful, without a blanket minimum account age. You must satisfy any local legal capacity or parental-authorisation requirements. A parent or guardian should help where required. Child-privacy safeguards and optional-feature eligibility must be reviewed before unrestricted public access; no completed parental-consent system is implied.

Community rules

  • Do not post unlawful content, threats, harassment, hate, spam, impersonation or other people’s private information.
  • Only share material you have the right to use. Mark spoilers and respect other members’ visibility choices.
  • Do not probe private accounts, bypass access controls or rate limits, scrape abusively, disrupt the service or manipulate ratings and interactions.
  • Do not use Monty for unrelated abusive requests, automated prompt flooding or attempts to extract private information or hidden instructions.

Your content and visibility

You keep ownership of your reviews, replies, lists and Circle contributions. You grant us the permission needed to store, format and display that content to operate NextUp according to your chosen visibility. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your content.

Public content can be seen and copied by others. Unlisted list links can be forwarded. Private Circle content is visible to its members; owners and managers can invite or remove eligible members. Respect the privacy of shared discussions. Removing your own content does not remove other members’ independently authored contributions, lawful safety records or copies outside NextUp.

Reports and moderation

Use report controls to flag rule-breaking content. We may hide content, limit publishing or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal requirements or these rules. Decisions may be reversed. Contact privacy@nextup.film to raise a concern or request review; no formal automated appeal process is currently provided. Safety evidence may be retained where justified, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Recommendations, AI and availability

Recommendations and Lost Reels identifications are suggestions, not guarantees. AI can be inaccurate or misleading; check title evidence and do not rely on responses as professional advice. Do not send sensitive personal information or another person’s private data. Monty requires an account and is subject to usage limits; enabling AI, sending private viewing context and saving conversations are separate choices.

Film information, artwork and availability belong to their respective rights holders; provider attribution is on Credits. Availability, catalogues, prices and subscriptions may vary by country and change. Verify offers with the streaming provider before subscribing or paying. NextUp does not itself supply access to the films or series listed.

Advertising and future paid features

NextUp is free to use, supported by Google AdSense advertising shown to visitors and members where your consent choices allow. Ads are labelled and separated from NextUp controls; third-party destinations have their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not currently offer active paid subscriptions. The premium plan we intend to offer will remove advertising for subscribers. Any future paid plan will require separately disclosed pricing, renewal, cancellation and consumer terms before purchase. These terms do not authorise charges or activate payments.

Changes and service reliability

We may improve, change or pause features, including for maintenance and security. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable and explain changes to these terms. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability or complete third-party information, but we remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.

Responsibility and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Our responsibility for loss is determined by applicable law; these terms do not impose an invented financial liability cap.

Prosely LTD is established in the United Kingdom. Applicable law and the court or regulator able to hear a claim depend on the claim and your mandatory local rights. These terms do not require overseas consumers to waive those rights or accept exclusive UK jurisdiction.

Leaving and contacting us

You can stop using NextUp, export your data from My NextUp and delete saved Monty conversations. Self-service account deletion is not yet available. Request account closure or erasure at privacy@nextup.film; we will explain verification, shared-content handling and any lawful retention limitations. We do not claim that every copy or safety record is immediately erased.

Questions about these terms: Prosely LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, or privacy@nextup.film.
